Cub Scout Pack 122 Fundraising Information

Pack Rummage Sale
Saturday, April 24, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m
Sunday, April 25, Noon to 4 p.m.
Judson Baptist Church gymnasium

Pack 122 is planning an all-pack rummage sale! All proceeds raised through this event will go to the Scout accounts for participating Scout families.

This has been a very successful fundraiser for other organizations and we want it to be successful for us too!

Whether or not your family chooses to participate, you can also help by donating your old grocery bags to the sale! Just drop them off during Friday's setup.

Event schedule

Setup: Friday, April 23, 5-8pm
Sale hours: Saturday, April 24, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 25 after JBC service, 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Volunteer shift schedule
All particiating Scout families are required to volunteer for some portion of the event.

The Pack needs 8 adults per shift. Adults can volunteer for more than one shift if they want to!

Saturday shifts: 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and 12-4 p.m.
Sunday shift: 12-4 p.m.

Each family is also responsible for the setup and teardown of their items. Please remember to price *all* items with your assigned number somewhere on the price tag. Your den leader should have e-mailed you your assigned number. If not, the April newsletter lists the numbers.

Candy and Beef Stick Sales
February 27 through April 4

The wait is over! Candy and beef sticks are here, just waiting to be picked up and sold. Candy is $2 a piece (comes 30 in a box), beef sticks are $1 each (comes 24 in a bag). About 30 percent of the sales will go to Scout accounts.

The Pack has secured booth sale times at South Salem Fred Meyer and South Commercial Walmart. Click here to view available slots. If you are selling at Fred Meyer, make sure to review the guidelines in this letter.

If you would like to book booth sale times at either location, contact Cheryl Cooper at 503-949-1514 or e-mail ccoop624@yahoo.com with your time choices.
Booth times will be on a first-come/first-served basis but please don't go overboard and try to reserve all of the time slots. We would like everyone interested in selling to have the opportunity to have a booth sale time.

Candy can be checked out by making arrangements to pick it up at the Coopers' house. Cheryl also plans to bring candy and meat sticks to the first den meetings scheduled this month. Please call Cheryl to make pick-up arrangements.

Remember, meat sticks may be returned no matter how many are left in the bag, but candy boxes are yours to sell once they have been opened. NO returns on opened boxes. Return product and total earnings (as a single check made out to Salem Pack 122) to Cheryl by Sunday, April 4.
